Getting Started with Windows NT Activity
Introduction to Windows NT

Windows NT is a Graphical User Interface (GUI-pronounced Gooey) operating system. An operating system, known as an OS, is software that makes everything in the computer work together smoothly and efficiently. Basically, it controls the overall activity of a computer.

The operating system is always running when your computer is on.

GUI's allow users to use the computer with a pointing device, such as a mouse, and GUI elements, such as menus, buttons, and dialog boxes.
