Help Support When you sign up with ISP they normally commit to providing support
to help with your dial-up connection. The form and availability of this support may
differ and you should address what is important to you. Consider these things:
- Does the ISP provide an email account for you to use to answer your questions?
Keep in mind, it is difficult to send email prior to you getting connected and
dialed in.
- Does the ISP provide an 800 number for you to call or is it a toll call?
- If a phone number is provided, does a person answer and talk to you, answer and
put you on hold, or ask for a number where they can reach you? If the latter case
exists, within what time frame do they say they will call back and do they call back
within that time frame?
