I know in the Internet Agents book he goes over spider and search engine
algorithms, but not in detail. But he does point you in the direction to get
more detailed info.
There is another book called Agents Unleashed. But it is very theoretical, for
the academic type.

Hi,
I am doing a research paper at Boston University about the concept of
operation of robots and spiders, and on search engines and the way they
store information and index the web.
Can anybody give me useful links or hints where I can find such detailed
information (not just general introduction)
