I guess you could call ours "proprietary" I suppose, it's just that we use
ObjectStore as a data store and manage the object indexing & searching using
a combination of the supported sets and collections in the OODBMS along with
our own storage, search and retrieval objects written in C++.
You guys ever going to publish a white paper on how Alta Vista works, or
maybe even sell the underlying technology as a product?
