I have a gateway for Swish that is written in C. I'm been thinking for a while
about tidying up a few loose ends and making it available. If there's any
interest I can do so quite easily. I'll even add some documentation :P

By no means would I claim it's a "perfect" gateway, but it offers multiple
configurations allowing you to use it for different searches and stuff - so you
can have some control over the look of the results page and such, without
having to have seperate copies for each type of search you want (i.e. one
gateway and multiple indexes).

I'll play around a little this week and see if I can get something
understandable up on a webpage. If you want to see the gateway in operation,
