In the U.S. it works the same way. That is, any finished piece of work =
is automatically copyrighted by virtue of it, well, being finished. =
However, officially registering the work with the copyright office does =
give you a better case in the event of a lawsuit (by or against you). =
The copyright office will happily mail you a huge packet of info on this =
if you give 'em a call.
