java applet sockets

the way that a java applet fails to identify itself is through using
java.net.URL. while this class is convenient for robots, it should be
avoides at least for this reason.

maybe i'll write a robotHTTP package that can replace java.net.URLs' usage
in java robots.

anyone interested?
