i need a bot!

can someone help me?

i need a bot that can act as my own personilized clipping service for the web.

i need to go into a set group of urls and track whether or not they are 1)
linking to one of my clients or 2) mentioning one of my clients in an
editorial context.

currently i have a need to monitor 150+ web sites for various criteria (20+
terms). i would like to 'buy' this bot off of someone so i can run it from
here and plug in new data as needed.

i am aware of services that can do this (e-watch, markwatch) for a hefty
fee. i would really like to have it for my own and not be under
contractual agreement with a service.

a big plus would be to monitor online newspapers. though, i understand
that there are copyright issues surrounding 'penetrating' online
newspapers... but if any of y'all have a way around it i'd love to hear
about it.

any leads out there in robotland?

thanks!

myles
