AMDIN: The list is dead

Hi all,

Many of you have wondered what happened to the robots mailing list.

Well, it is no more. I first shut it down during all the forgery nightmares.
I had hoped to have time to write a more secure, and more autonomous
mailing list manager. Alas, in all the weeks since I've not had more than
an hour to work on it, so it ain't gonna happen.

Now my job situation is changing, and I won't be physically close to
the WebCrawler MTA, nor online fulltime. This doesn't place me in a
good position to continue running the mailing list, even if I had managed
to get better mailing list management software by now.

>From mailings I receive, and the number of subscribees, I conclude people
find the list useful (though sometimes I'm at a loss to understand that :-).
So if anyone has the resources to take over, let me know within the next
few days, and I'll post a message pointing to its new home.

Otherwise I'd like to thank the people on this list for using this forumn
for their discussions, and for putting up with some of the rougher times.
