by Keywords
There are two primary methods for searching by topic:
keyword and subject. There are advantages and disadvantages to each method. Sometimes it
is useful to try both methods.

| Keyword is a very popular
way of locating information in an online catalog. It allows you to search for individual
words in the title, subject and other fields in the record.
|
For example, if you did a keyword search using the words "space
stations", you would find items with the words "space" and "stations"
located in the TITLE field.
