4. Enter login, password,
and terminal emulation information to establish the telnet connection. |
This information is unique to the computer you are
connecting to. Obtain this information from the appropriate source. |
5. Complete what you wanted
to accomplish. |
Remember, you have to use the commands of the remote
computer. To check your options try typing help. |
6. End/quit the telnet
session. |
There should have been printed text telling you how to
quit. Usually quit, exit or bye will work. |
