Many places are switching to having their information on a web site instead of a telnet site, but here's a couple you could check:

• To connect to Melvyl, the University of California system, and operate in a text only environment, telnet to 192.35.222.222 .  To see the web based version, navigate to:
• Check other libraries in the state to see which provide web versus telnet based access. (Also check the map for all Cal State libraries.)
