I know pegusus mail allows a send of a mail message to request
confirmation that a message was read. I've never used the feature, but
it makes me wonder if there is something set in your configuration.
Do you get confirmations on all emails you send or only ones sent to
this list? What email package are you using?
I'm not an expert on the subject but wanted to respond to be sure you
know that someone cares :-).
