hi,

i'm going to stand up for mr returned because he has taken a very logical
approach to spamming. :-) he just hasn't developed it into narrow casting
as it should.

getting mailto's out of html gives him the opportunity to discover the
interests of the human that the address refers to. he could easily use
SMART, which i sent him a pointer to source code, or other search engine to
categorize his spams over mailtos. the intersection over documents
containing the spam's keywords produces a set of documents from which
mailto's could be taken.

then... he could use www.hipcrime.com to provide his ActiveAgent clients
with a CIP on their search results! <FLAME>eh? robert?! how many times
you gonna suck up the net in one day?</FLAME>

well, someday someone will. hopefully before the internet dies. ;-)
