This has been an enlightening discussion, and indicates where we have been, and
the new issues that we as a community will have to deal with as we journey
headlong into the future on the 'Net. I agree with most, who indicate that
there are responsible uses of information/talent and there are irresponsible
uses. I guess that I would be afraid, if I was sending out unsolicited resumes
via email, that they would be treated as the rest of the unsolicited junk mail
that is going around the internet and trashed. Yes, commercialism is here to
stay on the internet, and yes we'll all have to deal with the direct marketers
and junk mail firms. (As an aside, I find that I'm much more offended by junk
email than regular junk mail. I'm sure that that has to do with what I'm used
to.) I hope that it won't come down to legislation, but I guess that sometimes
there are no other alternatives. It will be interesting to see where this ends
up. In the meantime, choose and choose wisely Jeff, the 'Net is getting
smaller everyday...

Now how about more robot talk?
