It's much more than just clicking delete (or typing 'd', for that matter).
ActiveAgent is apparently an animal that is designet to help you send spam
letters. Spam letters are network and CPU hogs, no more no less. If many
users on the same system receive the same spam (not unusual at all), it's
quite a lot of disk space that is used up at once, disk space that could
be better used. Therefore they are faught, and for no other reason.
Tell me: if it's something that's worthless to you, why do you spend any
more energy than a click to be rid of it?
If I find such things on my disks, I use some energy to remove it. I also
take the time to send a kind letter to the appropriate postmaster or abuse.
